To change the articulation character

Select the Articulation Tool $image\Articulation_Tool.gif$ .
Select the articulation’s handle and double-press the desired metatool key. The articulation changes to the definition assigned to the metatool key you used. (A "double-press" simply means pressing the keystroke twice in rapid succession). Or, double-click the articulation handle to open the Articulation Selection dialog box where you can choose from a number of articulations.
Double-click the desired articulation.
