To show empty staves

If you would like to show staves that have been hidden using the Staff Attributes dialog box or a Staff Style, see To show "force hidden" staves.

To show staves that have been hidden using the Hide Empty Staves command:

  1. Click the Staff Tool  image\Staff_Tool.gif. The Staff menu appears. A dashed blue line appears wherever hidden empty staves exist in your score. (Be sure you are viewing the score in Page View).
  2. Select the handle on the left edge of the dashed blue line.
  3. From the Staff menu, choose Show Emspty Staves.Or, rightclick the handle and choose which staves you would like to show from the context menu.
