You can remove group assignments on staves by selecting the group name handle then pressing the delete key. To check on the status of a staff and its grouping, ctrl+click its handle to display the Group Attributes dialog box. A staff can belong to more than one group. If you want to change the group attributes of a group, double-click on the group handle.
